Specifically designed to perform under higher torque loads associated with engines having closely spaced bolt patterns (typically import vehicles). This product is blowout resistant, allowing leakproof gaskets to be made and put into service in just one minute. Sensor-safe, the Right Stuff and reg GREY seals instantly, forming a reliable, long lasting elastomeric rubber gasket that outperforms precut gaskets. Specified by major import OEMs, this material is resistant to powertrain fluids (oil, coolant, and ATF) and operates in environments to 450 and degF (232 and degC) continuous 500 and degF (260 and degC) intermittent. and nbsp

Applications:

Automobile – Suggested Applications: Automotive gaskets, valve covers, oil pans, transmission pans, thermostat housings, water pumps.

Directions:

Clean and dry parts. Slice tip off cartridge. Attach and cut nozzle at desired opening at a 45 and deg angle, and insert into a standard cauking gun. Apply a continuous 1/8″ to 1/4″ bead to one surface, surrounding all bolt holes. Assemble parts within five minutes, tightening bolts to recommended torque levels. Material will fill any surface imperfection. To reuse package, leave a 1/2″ length of material extending out of the nozzle. Cured material will form a protective plug. To reuse, carefully remove the plug and dispense as before.

NOTE: Not for use as a head gasket or on parts in contact with fuels.
