Make leak-proof gaskets and return equipment to service immediately! Permatex premier instant gasket maker was designed as a replacement for conventional gaskets. This elastomeric and ldquoformed-in-place and rdquo material is more reliable and longer lasting than pre-cut gaskets. It is blowout resistant and protects against leaks and seepage caused by vibration and thermal expansion. Formulated to meet or exceed performance standards for long-term salability, durability and handling, this material is used on OEM production lines and specified in their service parts programs. Temperature range -75 and degF to 450 and degF (-59 and degC to 232 and degC) continuous, 500 and degF (260 and degC) intermittent resists ATF, coolant, oil and other shop fluids. Sensor-safe. Compared to Permatex and reg the Right Stuff and reg GREY Gasket Maker, our Black formula offers higher oil resistance and retains greater flexibility. Applications:
Automobile – Suggested Applications: Automotive, heavy duty, and marine gaskets, valve covers, gearbox covers, pumps, oil pans, thermostat housings, water pumps.
Motorcycle – Suggested Applications: Transmission housing cover, clutch release cover
Heavy Duty – Suggested Applications: Case covers, power divider shaft housings, input/output power shafts, PTO covers to housing, cover housing gasket, differential, assembly to rear axle housing, power dividers, axle shaft flanges
Directions:
Clean and dry parts. Push nozzle to dispense the Right Stuff and reg. Apply a continuous 1/8 and Prime to 1/4 and Prime bead to one surface, surrounding all bolt holes. Assemble parts within five minutes, tightening bolts to recommended torque levels. Material will fill any surface imperfection. Equipment can be returned to service immediately. To reuse package, leave a 1/2 and Prime length of material extending out of the nozzle. Cured material will form a protective plug. To reuse, carefully remove the plug and dispense as before.
NOTE: Not for use as a head gasket or on parts in contact with gasoline.
