High-Temp Red RTV Silicone Gasket – 7.25oz

OEM specified. Formulated for hi-temp applications, or heavy-duty use (such as towing, etc.). Replaces almost any cut gasket by making reliable and ldquoformed-in-place and rdquo gaskets that resist cracking, shrinking and migrating caused by thermal cycling. Coats pre-cut gaskets to increase reliability. Temperature range -65 and ordmF to 650 and ordmF (-54 and degC to 343 and degC) intermittent resists auto and shop fluids. and nbsp

Applications:

• Automobile – Suggested Applications: Valve covers, oil pans, timing covers, thermostat housings

Directions:

Surfaces should be clean and amp dry. Apply a continuous, uniform 1/16 and rdquo to 1/4 and rdquo bead of silicone, surrounding all bolt holes. 1/8 and rdquo is suitable for most applications. Bead size may be varied by finger pressure, how quickly applicator is moved and angle. For heavier beads, nozzle may be cut to size. Activate PowerBead and trade by twisting nozzle one full turn counterclockwise, raising trigger. Press trigger to dispense. Assemble parts immediately while silicone is still wet. Silicone will fully cure in 24 hours. After use, store applicator by twisting nozzle clockwise, wiping away excess silicone and amp replacing plastic cap with a and ldquoclick and rdquo.

NOTE: Not recommended for use on head gaskets or parts in contact with gasoline.
